Mahjong Monday - Open Play

  1. Description: Mahjong Monday is a social club hosted 2-3 Mondays in a month. They are founded on playing Chinese-style mahjong in a relaxed environment.

  4. Full beginner ticket: $28. Includes full lesson, take-home mahjong guide, 1 beer/wine.

Ice Cream Social Fundraiser for Upstate Pride

OutLoud Sports Upstate Kickball Game and Social

  1. Description: come watch queer kickball (it's basically softball after all) for their 7 week season. There are bleachers by the side or spectators are welcome to bring lawn chairs. Afterwards, there is a social at Southern Growl for food and drinks!

Free Community Yoga

  1. Description: Bod By Ash is creating accessible movement classes for all bodies and all people. There will be three free (donation-based) movement & meditation classes in May all across the upstate. All you need is a yoga mat and a body. Follow the link to sign up for one (or all three!) of these sessions. Bring a friend, or twelve!

Queerfest 2026

  1. Description: Join us at Good Art Co. for Queerfest 2026 from 5-9PM for an evening of powerful artwork, delicious food, drinks from local partners, and creative vendors from the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s exhibit will be a Showcase of work by the members of the Queer Arts Initiative Steering Committee. Come celebrate, connect, and experience the beauty of queerness in all its forms.

Lunar Paddle

  1. Description: Join @queers_of_greersc in participating in the Lunar Paddle night! May 30th, 6-9pm! $8 to LAUNCH YOUR OWN KAYAK $20 to RENT & LAUNCH from the landing.
    (To be clear this is not a queer specific/ only event, there will be others enjoying this public event and space as well, we just plan on attending as a collective group for fun and safety.)
